In western countries perfect and straight teeth are thought to be esential if someone wants to have a good image. But in Japan is happening something considerated for us really uncommon .
There is a new trend call "yaeba" wich means "double tooth".
Many japanese's idols has an operation to crook their eyeteeth. But, why do they do something like that? Maybe is it useful to chew in a diferent way or what?
As probabily many Japanese's culture lovers know, Japanese women want to be "kawaii" which means cute, they like beeing innocent, infant and looking like girls.
Little girls' teeth are usually imperfect, they are growing and sometimes they are crooked.
That's the effect wich they want to catch: they want to have a cute and infant mouth.
I let you a video wich explains how it works:
What do you think about it? Would you have yaeba?
